Handmade 30th Anniversary Invitations
You will need to first consider whether or not you will make your 30th Anniversary homemade invitations traditional or if you will create a modern twist on your 30th Anniversary. The traditional 30th Anniversary theme would be to include pearls while the modern outlook is more focused on diamonds.
Whether you choose pearls or diamonds, they both take on a multidimensional look. With that, a 30th Anniversary handmade party invitation should welcome depth and sophistication. Instead of the traditional card stock homemade invitations for your 30th Anniversary, why not try something a little different such as a message in a bottle if you want to go traditional or a treasure chest to go a little modern.
If you choose the traditional route, you will need these supplies for your 30th Anniversary handmade party invitations: glass or plastic bottle, medium grade paper, printer, sand, fake pearls (one per bottle or many), cork and ribbon. You can also throw in some shells as well if you would like.
Assemble the message in the bottle by simply pouring in ½ to 1 inch of sand, adding pearls to the top along with any other items you choose and then inserting the paper with a printed invitation on them. Roll up the paper, tie the ribbon to the rolled paper, stick it in the bottle and let the ribbon hang outside of the bottle. Finally place the cork on top.
For a more modern look, you could use any small chest such as a wooden chest from the craft store, paint it like a treasure chest, place your folded invitation, a few fake diamonds and maybe even a nice piece of cloth in as well.
Use your imagination and think outside the box- after all, if you are going to make 30th Anniversary homemade party invitations, you might as well have fun with it!
