Handmade Baptism Invitations
Your Baptism homemade party invitations will be a start to a wonderful beginning for your child. Baptism party invitations should be soft, inviting and full of joy. For this, many people often times make homemade party invitations for their child’s Baptism out of pictures.
In order to give your handmade Baptism party invitation a finished touch and professional look, you will need to have card stock, prints of the picture you would like to use, scissors, tacky glue and a printer or pen. First, mount your photo on card stock. You can choose whichever color you want; however, white is usually the standard. Once you have your base, you can them decide where you want to place the information. Some ideas are to place the information on the corners of the picture, on the opposite side of the child in the picture or along the bottom. Depending on where your child is, the information will be placed in a different location so you do not cover the actual image. Cut out a piece of card stock (can be a different color) in any shape you want, as long as it is large enough to write information in. Fill in the information, glue the shape on and you are done. If you want, you can add even more decoration including transfers, stamps, stickers and other items.
An alternating idea would be to connect two piece of cardstock with a ribbon on the bind and then place the picture on the front, a saying on the left side and then the information on the right side.
