Handmade Christening Invitations
Your child’s Christening will be started off the right way with homemade party invitations for their Christening day. You can capture the innocence and joy of your child’s special day by creating a handmade part invitation that showcases the star; your child!
Take a picture of the child prior to Christening and get them developed as 4 x 6 pictures. These pictures will become your postcard. After they are developed, get a 4x6 postcard to glue on the back. This can be any color; just make sure the color is light enough where your writing will show up on it. On the back of the postcard, address the recipient’s location and then put your party details on the other side.
Tip: If you are going to send them in the mail, be sure to take a safety precaution and cover the party detail information on the handmade invitation with another piece of card stock secured in place with gold seals on either side or something comparable. This will help keep your information private as well as looking good.
You can add other decorative elements to the Christening handmade party invitation by adding lace around the picture, framing out the picture with a brown or comparable card stock color as well as cutting a decorative edge around the picture itself.
