Handmade Columbus Day Invitations
When it comes to making Columbus Day homemade party invitations, many of us can not be sure which way to go. Columbus Day is the celebration of when Christopher Columbus first arrived to America and is celebrated much like the 4th of July. If you are planning on throwing a Columbus Day themed party, making homemade party invitations could not be simpler.
Head over to your local party store and pick up some large glitter stars on sticks. These usually are sold in packages of six to eight each and about four inches in diameter. Pick up as many as you would need for your party guests, but be sure you get red, blue, and even silver stars. Using your computer, type up your invitation using a circle template, but be sure to not use one larger than two and a half inches in diameter. Print out the invitations and paste them to your stars. Hand out stars to your friends and family and tell them to bring their handmade party invitations to the celebration. These stars can be used at your local parade, or just while watching fireworks. They are the perfect way to integrate a homemade party invitation with a party favor.
