Handmade Eighties Invitations
Eighties homemade party invites are absolutely wild in color and very loud in 1980s arcade appearance. This Eighties custom1980s arcade party invite is sure to make an impression on guests and get them excited about the party they are invited to.
First, craft supplies will need to be assembled to create this custom part supply. 1980s arcade themed Black cardstock, multi colored puff paints including hot pink, lime green, yellow, white and blue are all great choices along with a straw. Start creating the Eighties invitations by folding them in half. Next, take one color of the puff paint and squiggle some on top of the black cardstock. Then, take the straw, place it directly above a puff paint area and blow into the straw. This will create a splatter mark. Continue to do this with all areas the puff paint is and with all the colors until the desired look is achieved.
The addition of cut out letter made of foam or cardstock along with other options such as glitter letters is always a great contrast. The splatted colors pop a lot on the black cardstock and then the cutouts are completely independent looking from the splats so the overall image is layered and more aesthetically intriguing.
Finally, cut out a piece of white card stock to line the inside right of the card and leave just enough around the edges where it creates a black boarder. Include all the detailed information on the white cardstock including date, time, location and contact information. Decorate the other side with Eighties bands or other pop culture.
