Handmade Halloween Invitations
Every Halloween you find yourself purchasing generic invitations from the party store, but why not make homemade party invitations this year? They can be relatively cheaper than purchased ones, and with a little time you can make a crafty invitation your guests will love.
Head over to your local party store and pick up the personal pumpkin trick-or-treat buckets. You can get small ones that are no larger than four inches in diameter for under a dollar a piece and even cheaper when you buy them in sets of twenty. With your computer, type up your party invitation and fold to fit inside the pumpkin. Include a piece of Halloween candy to seal the deal. Instruct your guests to bring their pumpkin to the party. Once your guests arrive with their personal pumpkins you can begin the fun. Use short games to entertain your guests, with the prizes being candy. The person with the most candy by the end of the night will win an even bigger prize. If you are throwing a Halloween party for children, have each bring their personal pumpkin to the party and go trick-or-treating with them. The child with the most candy by the end of the night wins a prize as well. It is a fun way to incorporate your homemade party invitation into the entire night.
