Handmade Nascar Racing Invitations
Nascar parties are even more fun when you start with handmade invitations. You can personalize each homemade invitation to made you guests feel special. Start by getting medium weight card stock in white, markers in a variety of colors and a glue stick. This handmade invitation will showcase your drawing talent or your talent at finding colorful clipart. Both are valid and will enhance your handmade invitation. Cut card stock into rectangular shapes that will fit you envelopes and make it slightly narrower at the top than the bottom. You want to give your guests the feel of looking down the track to the finish line.
Either find clipart of a racetrack finish line, print it out and cut it to fit one side of your homemade invitation or draw a road ( an outline will do just fine) about 3/4 of the way up the road / track draw a banner hung between to thin poles that says Finish Line on it. The road can be outlined in gray, brown and black. At the bottom write something like “And the winner is (your guest's name)”. The banner for you handmade creation should have some checkered black and white design on it. Put a little glue on the road / track and sprinkle some glitter on it. On the back use markers to write your party info and try adding some color to your homemade invitations by adding a little glitter sprinkled on the sides of the party info. Your handmade creation will make all your guests feel like winners.
