At your local party store, pick up some mini plastic beer mugs that are anywhere from three to four inches tall. If you are worried about price, you can usually purchase these in bulk online for under $20.00 for packets of 30. With a gold or black paint pen, write your invitation on the side of the mug, while writing an Oktoberfest joke or slogan on the opposite side. Have guests bring their mugs to the party and have a laugh as they try to use them for drinks. It is a fun and festive way to incorporate the celebration of Oktoberfest into not only your homemade party invitation, but a party favor for your guests to keep.
