Handmade Pink Invitations
Pink homemade party invitations are a wonderful selection for girls and women of all ages. The color pink can translate into just about any décor and especially present in Barbie, princess, ballerina parties and many others. Pink can be used as a theme color for a birthday, wedding, baby shower, bachelorette party and many other celebrations.
When focusing in on a particular color, utilizing shapes is often times very helpful when conveying the color. For the color pink, a circle is a great shape. A circle is a good choice because it is round, soft and welcoming. The color pink is soft, feminine and welcoming as well; therefore, it is a perfect match!
Create a pink themed homemade party invitation for a kid’s party or an adult party by folding white cardstock in half and decorating it with pink circles. Each pink circle should be cut out of pink card stock and then glued onto the white cardstock. For an added, layered effect, place a slightly larger black circle under the pink circle before gluing it to the white cardstock. A thin black boarder could also go around the white cardstock for a more defined look.
If applying pink party invitations to another theme such a Barbie or even a Ballerina theme, be sure to use accent colors such as hot pink for the Barbie theme and silver or similar for the ballerina theme. Although pink is a very unique color, it works well with a variety of different colors and meshes well with different theme.
