Handmade Pirate Invitations
Pirate homemade party invitations “arrr” the key to any successful pirate themed party. Starting from the beginning, your custom pirate themed invitations will lead the way to the buried treasure! For a fun pirate party for children of all ages, incorporate a treasure map onto the homemade invitations that are sent out. The idea behind the treasure map is that once together, they will be able to search for the prizes. This will require teamwork and is a great addition to any child’s party. Just be sure that each child gets a prize from the treasure chest!
In order to make it look like a piece of a map, take a large sheet of paper and draw out the map. Then, cut even sized squares from the map and mount them on cardstock. The map on the invitation should be placed on the map; or if choosing to construct a folding card, in the inside on the left.
Tip: Putting the map portion of the invite on the back of the actual Pirate themed homemade invitation allows for children to access the map easier. Be sure to make it as simple as possible to follow as far as joining the maps together.
On the front of the card write something clever such as pirates would say and then include all applicable information such as name, date, contact number, location and any other needed information. It is important to have fun creating this treasure chest map invitation because the more that is put into it, the more guests will get out of it.
