Pick up some red, white, and blue foam pieces in the shape of a star from your local craft store as well as some red, white, and blue glitter. On one side of your star cover the entire thing in similar colored glitter. On the opposite side use a red, white, or blue paint pen and write out your invitation. You can even include a famous Patriotic quote from one of our former Presidents. Purchase red, white, and blue envelopes and seal them with star shaped stickers. Try to carry out the theme at your party by using star shaped platters or even making star shaped cookies for treats.
