Decade theme parties looks back at the different eras.  The roaring 20's Theme Party clothes waistlines were at the waist, but were loose and not fitted. Women wore suits with long hemlines and somewhat full skirts, often with belts at the waist of the jackets. Dress and suit bodices alike were worn loose, even baggy.  They also would have the "earphone" hairstyle popular in the early 1920s, also known as cootie garages.  In the 1920s some of the most exciting and memorable elements in America are the trends.  The most famous people of the 1920s were flappers. These women set fashion trends, a new woman was born. She smoked, drank, danced, and voted. She cut her hair, wore make-up, and went to petting parties. She was giddy and took risks.  The new sound of jazz first spread across America in the early twentieth-century.
