It is important to create a complete customized and personalized party invitation for the people that will be invited. The card, in general, will be simple but it is the attention to detail that will make the party invitation be chic and vibrant. First, be sure to include the person’s name on the front of the card. Under the feather headband design described below.
For the feather headband, cut out two arched black lines out of cardstock. Centered on the middle, glue one arch down and the other black arch up connecting to the arch facing downwards. This should give the appearance of a band. With plastic gems, glue a string of gems across the length of the band. To give it a little more sparkle, take a dab of glue in between each gem and then cover it with silver glitter. This will give a constant look on the band.
Next, attach a black colored feather to the band to give it the touch of the Roaring 20s. For an added touch, dip the ends of the feather in liquid glue and the sprinkle some silver glitter on it as well.
Tip: Be sure not to add too much glue or it will glob and look bad.
