Handmade Sports Invitations
Make handmade invitations for a sports party. You can celebrate with recognition of a variety of sports. You will need white card stock, a glue stick, glitter, a variety of markers. Draw a variety of sports balls, along with a baseball bat, a golf club and a Finish Line banner on your handmade invitation. You can buy cutouts of sports equipment in the scrapbooking section of a craft store or a big discount store. Cut out rectangular shapes from the white card stock for the background of your homemade invitation.
Position the sport equipment cutouts on the white card stock. Move the cutouts around until you are pleased with the positions on your handmade card. Next, glue the cutouts to you card. Using the markers write the names of a variety of games on the homemade card, on the side with the cutouts. Near the middle of the invitation, write the name of your guest. Draw in a small Finish Line banner. With the glue stick apply a thin layer of glue around the outer edge of the card and sprinkle glitter on it. On the back of your handmade invitation write your party information and add a slogan like “You’re a Winner” or “We are the Champs”.
Use the glue stick to put dots of glue around the blank areas of the back of your homemade invitation. Next sprinkle glitter on the glue and shake off the excess. You can add the names of sports teams and associations like Yankees or NFL.
