Handmade Woodstock Invitations
Woodstock homemade party theme invitations are a step into the past and a combination of the tye-dye fade and wonderful music. Woodstock themes are dominated by the music factor and virtually always represented by a tye-dye background and an acoustic guitar in front.
To create a tye-dye background for the Woodstock themed party, gather a set of water colors and begin splashing the paper in different areas with different colors. Get the colors to spread and blend by adding a larger amount of water to the brush and stroking the area briskly.
After the water colors have dried, add an acoustic guitar to the front of the homemade party invitation. The guitar image can be a clip art in color, that was painted, a picture from online printed on the computer printer or better yet, an acoustic guitar made out of brown and black cardstock. In order to achieve the cardstock look, remember to apply layers. Working with cardstock effectively achieves its best look when cardstock is layered upon each other.
Get detailed and even include pictures of albums covers during the Woodstock time. There are many great bands to depict on the Woodstock invitation so just pick a few of the all-time favorites. Switch things up a bit and include album covers that are all different on each individual invitation. This will not only make them different but more personalized as well; especially when the host knows the guests favorite bands during the Woodstock time frame.
